Our North Garden, VA sawmill is hiring for a wheel loader/front loader operator. The positions primary responsibilities include moving various materials such as logs, cants, and packs of lumber. These are full time opportunities working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Heavy Equipment Log Operator Responsibilities
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Unload incoming log trucks and sort hardwood logs by species
- Keep up with sawmill operations and process flow by loading/unloading material on decks
- Ability to work independently
- Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
Heavy Equipment Log Operator Qualifications
- Previous experience as an equipment operator using a wheel loader or similar machine
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in outside environment and work overtime
